The partners and our highly knowledgeable staff are committed to providing our clients with accounting services that they can rely on. While the firm is relatively small, we offer a wide variety of services. The size of our firm and the diversity of clients we serve, ensures our staff receive experience in many aspects of public accounting, and have a supportive environment which allows them to accomplish their professional goals.

Partners
Cory McIntosh
CPA, CGA, CAFM, CFP
Cory McIntosh started in public practice in January 1993, working as a student for Degruchy Norton & Co. Later, he worked for a firm in Victoria, BC and received his Certified General Accountant designation in 1996. He returned to Degruchy, Norton & Co. in October 1999, becoming a partner in 2001.
Jason Moore
BA, CPA, CGA
Jason Moore began working for McIntosh Norton Williams in 1999 and became a partner in 2008. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and history from Vancouver Island University and completed his CPA designation in 2003.
Jeff Durrant
BBA, CPA
Jeff Durrant joined our firm in May of 2020 and became partner in January 2022. He graduated with distinction from Okanagan College in 2015 with a degree in Business Administration, specialty in accounting. Jeff started as a co-op student at KNV in 2012, and when KNV merged with MNP in 2015, he remained and became a manager at MNP Kelowna after obtaining his CPA designation in 2018.
Michael K. Williams
CPA, CGA
Michael Williams has retired as partner as of January 2022, but remains with us to assist with the partner transition to make the process as smooth as possible. Michael has over thirty years of experience in public practice. He received his Certified General Accountant designation in 1995 and started working for Walters & Co. in 1998. In 1999 he became partner in Walters Williams & Co. and helped lead the McIntosh Norton Williams merger in September 2004.
Staff
Leanne Diewold
BBA, CPA
Leanne Diewold joined the firm in August of 2018 and works as a senior accountant in our Port Alberni office. She graduated with Distinction with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, and a concentration in Accounting, from Okanagan College in 2016.
Leanne began her CPA coursework in 2017 and has written and passed the Common Final Examination for the CPA program in the fall of 2021. Leanne received her CPA designation in February 2022.
As a member of our staff, Leanne is value-oriented and is intrinsically satisfied when she adds value to a process, a work-related project, and for clients.
Ryan Mummery
BBA, CPA
Ryan Mummery is a senior accountant in our Qualicum Beach office and has been with the firm since October 2017. He attended Vancouver Island University from 2013 to 2017 and graduated with Distinction with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree and a double major in Accounting and Finance.
Ryan passed the Common Final Examination for the CPA program in the fall of 2021. Ryan received his CPA designation in October 2022.
As a young teenager, Ryan enjoyed working with numbers and bookkeeping. As an accountant, he likes to focus on helping our clients succeed and relieving their stress.

Elise King
Elise King is our Bookkeeper in the Qualicum Beach office. She joined the firm in February of 2019 and tackles her job with efficiency and determination. Elise attended Sprott Shaw College and earned certificates in both the Administrative and Medical Assistant programs.
In addition to having a delightful sense of humor, Elise enjoys organizing workloads, processes, and projects. Consequently, she gets great satisfaction when tasks are completed with proficiency and accuracy.
